Here a new message about a great old eastern German camera i just got last mounth from Ebay :
Certo SL110, very cheap 80's style, all plastic but quit solid and very cool looking
The
particularity of it is that it doesn't use normal 35mm film but SL
Cassette which is the communist version of the Agfa Rapid system, an old
discountinued format of film. Actualy you can use SL cassette in an
Agfa Rapid camera and vice versa.
Not realy easy to find but easier than agfa Rapid films...Only Orwo, the former Eastern German film plant produced them untill the late 80's, only black and white films were available, I've got many of them , first i thought it was normal 35mm ORWO films and got very surprised when i open the box the load my Praktica FX3. So, to use this stock of film films i had to buy that Certo SL camera........
What is cool about this Certo SL110 is that it shoot 24x24 mm pictures, with a 12 exposures film you can get 16 exposures!
